Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is opening a new spa in Monroe, NY located in Orange County! We are growing rapidly and have become an addition to an already successful franchise system with over 600 locations across the US and Canada!

We are currently seeking a full-time Spa Manager to help us run our operations for our developing spa in Monroe! The ideal spa manager candidate is a strong leader, who can drive results and pivot to meet the needs of the spa. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years’ experience – multi unit operators a plus!

Spa Manager Performance will be based on the following metrics:
  1. Membership Conversion – marketing strategy as well as coaching and motivating your spa team is crucial to this role!
  2. Leadership – building a consistent, and cohesive culture.
  3. Revenue – you understand how to drive revenue via scheduling, marketing and upgrading services.
  4. Recruiting – you are passionate about building a team of passionate spa professionals!
  5. Operations – you measure and deliver results, create a strong member base, and deliver a consistently excellent client experience!
  6. Business Acumen – run your own business without the risk! The ability to analyze metrics and make decisions to drive results is key.

*Spa owners is remote to spa location but available anytime for support.

What you need to succeed in this role:
  1. 3 to 5 years management experience in the salon/spa, retail, or hospitality industry
  2. Flexible schedule – this role requires a variety of hours including nights and weekends.
  3. Passion for promoting the benefits of massage and skin care services.
  4. Ability to manage different roles and personalities.
  5. Understand the necessity of collaboration and guide the staff to operate with peak efficiency through coordination, communication, and cooperation.
  6. Ability to focus on achieving sales targets (with an eye for effective marketing strategies) and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

Responsibilities:
  1. Direct and organize the overall operation of the spa to maximize profits through exemplary customer service and customer satisfaction.
  2. Overcome objections during the sales process and increase the membership base.
  3. Create marketing strategies aimed at maximizing revenue and profits.
  4. Perform data analysis that drives business decisions and success.
  5. Use sound judgment, work independently, with minimal supervision.
  6. Plan and direct to meet the daily needs of the operation.
  7. Track staff schedules efficiently to optimize capacity, revenue, and profits.
  8. Maintain the utmost cleanliness and soothing ambiance of the premises.
  9. Manage inventory effectively.
  10. Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction, address customer dissatisfaction, resolve service complaints.
  11. Ensure compliance with all Hand & Stone policies and procedures in addition to the local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  12. Hire, train, supervise, develop, mentor all team members according to Hand & Stone policies and procedures.
  13. Motivates and empowers the team to achieve high standards.
