Schedule/Expected work hours

• 6–8-hour shifts

Job Summary

The Assistant Retreat Director assists the Retreat Director in providing exceptional guest service and ensuring team member satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising all aspects of Retreat operations, including driving revenue, managing inventory, and ensuring adherence to brand systems and processes
• Support recruitment, hiring, training, and retention of top talent
• Plan and implement training for Front Desk Sales Associates, including coaching and role-playing
• Stay informed about services, products, and promotions, setting an example for the team
• Manage team member schedules to ensure smooth daily operations
• Collaborate with the Retreat Director to set and achieve team and individual goals
• Lead by example to achieve personal and team objectives

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of face-to-face sales or retail management experience
• Leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills as a self-starter
• Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution for at least 1 year
• Ability to develop positive relationships with employees and manage coaching/mentoring with discipline
• Proficiency with computers and standard software
• Basic business math skills
• Availability to work varied hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays
