Recess Hotel & Club in Savannah is seeking a warm, composed Spa Host to be the welcoming face of Saltgrass Spa. This front-of-house role blends guest relations, scheduling, and spa coordination to set a concierge tone from booking to departure.

The ideal candidate communicates with ease, keeps operations smooth, and ensures every guest feels uniquely cared for. This on-site position offers luxury wellness exposure and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a spa, luxury hotel, or guest-facing hospitality role.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills—written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn spa reservation software (Book4Time a strong plus).
• Genuine interest in wellness and Saltgrass brand philosophy.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Professional presentation and grooming standards for a luxury wellness environment.
• Composure under pressure during peak periods.
• Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for guest arrivals, departures, and in-spa needs at the Saltgrass front desk.
• Greet guests warmly and professionally for circuit visits, treatments, or inquiries.
• Orient guests to the wet circuit and explain protocols and flow.
• Manage spa reservations and scheduling via Book4Time across bookings and packages.
• Provide pre- and post-appointment communication and guidance.
• Assist guests in selecting services and retail products with informed recommendations.
• Process retail transactions, gift cards, and spa packages at point of sale.
• Coordinate treatment scheduling with therapists to ensure seamless transitions.
• Handle guest feedback and escalate to Spa Manager when needed.
• Maintain organization of the spa reception area and displays.
• Assist with inventory management and promotions awareness.
• Collaborate with hotel front desk, F&B, and concierge on guest crossovers.
• Support fitness activation scheduling and general administrative tasks.
