Job summary

Kohler Waters Spa in Lincoln Park, Chicago, seeks a Spa Attendant to support guests and operations in a full-time, onsite role. You will assist with reception, linen management, and service coordination to ensure a tranquil spa experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, aiding technicians, and providing excellent guest service. CPR training is required; the position offers a daytime to evening schedule with weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma.
• Prior computer and/or facility maintenance experience helpful.
• Customer service-related experience required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to respite room to maintain order, cleanliness and amenities; replenish towels.
• Perform rounds of the facility to ensure neatness and order.
• Attend to the Reception Desk for client check-in for sandals, robes and lockers.
• Understand basic RIO system operations for “view-only” purposes, to communicate service times and availability.
• Gather used linens and distribute clean linens to storage areas and treatment rooms.
• Assist spa technicians with cleaning of baths between client treatments.
• Support maintenance with daily water readings/testing in the Spa Relaxation.
• Maintain neatness around the Spa Relaxation Pool lounge area.
• Advise Spa Hostess on food and beverage replenishment during the day.
• Assist Group Coordinator with setup tasks for special group requirements.
• Know and communicate information about The American Club property to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of desk, reception area, retail centers, and flooring.
• Inform Supervisor if additional staff is needed.
• Perform opening/closing procedures as required.
• Provide food and beverage support and lunches as needed.
• Maintain a high level of customer service for all spa guests.
• Greet guests on arrival and know service times for each technician.
• Know emergency procedures and complete CPR training as required.
