Job summary

PJ Helicopters, Inc. is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll for Quanta Aviation Services Group and its operating subsidiaries.

Based in Red Bluff, CA, you will process semi-monthly and weekly payroll, verify timecards, input data, and maintain employee records across multiple entities within a SOX-compliant environment. You will collaborate with HR and Finance, ensure accurate tax withholding and garnishments, support quarterly and annual filings, and help develop standard

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hands-on payroll processing in a multi-entity environment.
• Knowledge of federal and California wage/hour law including overtime rules.
• Proficiency with payroll platforms and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential employee data with discretion and integrity.
• Reliable on-site presence in Red Bluff, CA.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly and weekly payroll cycles for multiple entities.
• Verify timecard data for compliance with policy and laws.
• Enter and verify payroll data including deductions, additions, and taxes.
• Manage garnishments and other involuntary deductions per regulations.
• Maintain audit-ready payroll records and supporting documents.
