Job summary

Insight Global in Mojave, CA is seeking a Payroll Analyst to ensure accurate, timely payroll operations across the organization. The role oversees processing, compliance with federal and state regulations, and supports audits.

You will partner with HR, Accounting, and IT to optimize payroll systems and controls. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 5+ years of payroll experience, CPP certification, and expertise with ADP and Deltek Costpoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• CPP certification or equivalent.
• Expertise with ADP and Deltek Costpoint.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations.
• Experience supporting international payroll processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

One of our top Aerospace clients in Mojave, CA is looking to hire a Payroll Analyst for their team full-time! The Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll operations across the organization. This role oversees payroll processing, maintains compliance with federal and state regulations, drives process improvements, supports audits, and partners closely with HR, Accounting, and IT to enhance payroll systems and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee regular, supplemental, and off-cycle payroll processing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and applicable international payroll regulations
• Develop and improve payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Partner with HR, Accounting, and IT to support payroll system integrations
• Lead payroll automation and process improvement initiatives
• Prepare payroll metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership review
• Support internal and external audits and maintain audit readiness
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure data accuracy across systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or equivalent
• Expertise with enterprise payroll systems such as ADP and Deltek Costpoint
• Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regulations
• Experience supporting international payroll processes
• Proven success leading payroll process improvement and automation initiatives
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace, defense, or government contracting experience
• Hands-on experience with ADP and Deltek SFT
• Experience implementing or managing payroll automation technologies
