Job summary

TKDA is seeking a Mining Market Manager for the Southwest region to advance mining engineering services across Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. You will build business plans, pursue surface mining projects, and manage client relationships while collaborating with civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural teams.

Ideal candidates will lead market development, respond to RFPs, and oversee project scope, staffing, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mining or Structural Engineering.
• Ten or more years of experience designing, commissioning, or managing mining, facility, and infrastructure projects.
• Minimum of five years of multi-disciplinary project management experience.
• Minimum of two years of business development experience.
• Understanding of mining industry operations, processing, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business plans to expand mining services.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to cross-sell services and identify opportunities.
• Lead outreach, attend networking events, and participate in associations to cultivate clients.
• Travel up to 20% overnight for on-site consultations and meetings.
• Mentor and develop a team of mechanical engineering professionals.
