Job summary

WSP is seeking a Geomatics Regional Manager for the Mountain Pacific Region, overseeing Albuquerque NM projects. You will manage traditional surveys, LiDAR, UAS, and mobile mapping, leading a team in a collaborative culture. The role includes client relations, staff development, and strategic business planning.

The position requires 12+ years in surveying, a relevant degree, and proven leadership. Travel and overtime may be involved, with a focus on delivering high-quality survey data and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in surveying, GIS or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 12+ years surveying experience with proven leadership and project management.
• Ability to lead multi-discipline survey projects and manage client relations.
• Strong knowledge of surveying mathematics, standards, and deliverables.
• Experience with Bentley, Leica, and Ri software is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness for travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Southwest Geomatics Regional activities for surveys, LiDAR, and mobile mapping.
• Mentor staff, coordinate field and office teams, and ensure safety compliance.
• Oversee project scoping, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Manage client communications and business development within the region.
• Review deliverables and ensure quality control across projects.
• Develop strategic plans and grow the Geomatics group in the Southwest.
