Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Geomatics Specialist to lead field crews in delivering high-precision surveys and reality capture solutions across transportation, infrastructure, and energy sectors. You will manage SLAM mobile scanning, terrestrial LiDAR, and conventional survey methods to support boundary retracement, control networks, and digital twin workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9 years of relevant field surveying experience with leadership of survey crews.
• Experience with dimensional control surveying and construction layout.
• Experience operating SLAM scanners and terrestrial LiDAR systems.
• Strong understanding of survey control, coordinate systems, and geodetic principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations on moderate- to large-scale projects with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to plan boundary retracement, control networks, and reality capture strategies.
• Provide training and guidance on survey principles, GNSS, SLAM scanning, and terrestrial LiDAR technologies.
• Prepare field notes, reports, and QA/QC documentation for survey deliverables.
• Ensure deliverables meet client specifications and standards.
