Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an Account Manager to join the U.S. Global Wealth Management team in Austin. The role focuses on driving ETF sales, building strategic relationships with financial advisors, and expanding the firm’s ETF footprint across broker-dealers, wirehouses, and RIAs.

A strong background in ETFs and client-facing sales is required, with significant travel to support initiatives. We offer a competitive base salary with discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of ETF-related client-facing roles or business development.
• Strong knowledge of ETFs and the evolving financial advisory landscape.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging partners.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive territory performance by maximizing sales with financial advisor clients and exceed targets monthly, quarterly, and annually.
• Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan aligned with long-term goals.
• Identify and cultivate new partnerships to expand ETF business among wealth managers at broker-dealers, wirehouses, and RIAs.
• Design and implement marketing and sales campaigns to deepen engagement with partners.
• Collaborate with GWM colleagues across sales to champion ETF-focused initiatives.
• Maintain deep product knowledge of PIMCO’s ETFs, platforms, and market strategies.
• Represent PIMCO ETFs at industry conferences and client-facing events.
• Adhere to travel, expense reimbursement, and activity reporting requirements.
