Job summary

PIMCO is seeking an Account Associate in Austin, TX to support the U.S. Global Wealth Management team.

You will work closely with a field-based Account Manager to build and maintain strong relationships with financial advisors across the territory and support sales activities across PIMCO products. The role emphasizes market insights, client engagement, and the use of data and AI tools to drive efficiency and tailored client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 license or ability to obtain within 3 months of start date.
• 2–3 years of professional work experience in financial services or client-facing roles.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stay informed on financial markets and provide insights to support territory sales.
• Assist in client interactions via phone, email, and in-person meetings to enhance client experience.
• Collaborate with the Account Manager to understand client needs and tailor the sales approach.
• Provide sales support with market insights and product information to empower the AM.
• Contribute to territory activity planning and execution aligned with sales objectives.
• Engage in professional development opportunities and collaborate with teams across PIMCO functions.
• Leverage data and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, efficiency, and workflows.
• Represent PIMCO at conferences and training events as needed.
