Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economic Development, Community Development, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or Business Development, or equivalent business experience
• Business background with emphasis on deal negotiation and economic development/site selection
• 1–3 years of experience in economic development or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Represent the Indiana Economic Development Corporation for select counties in the Southern Indiana Region
• Negotiate complex economic development deals and manage projects
• Identify business attraction and expansion opportunities; build relationships with local officials and development organizations; provide technical assistance to businesses seeking IEDC program support
