The Project Manager serves as the key Indiana Economic Development Corporation representative for select counties in the Southern Indiana Region, managing IEDC projects with focus on negotiating economic development deals and fostering relationships with partners and stakeholders. The role involves identifying business attraction and expansion opportunities, building relationships with local officials and development organizations, and providing technical assistance to businesses seeking IEDC program support.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Economic Development, Community Development, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or Business Development, or equivalent business experience
• Business background with emphasis on deal negotiation and economic development/site selection
• 1-3 years of experience in economic development or related field (preferred)
• Knowledge of Indiana's core industries (aerospace, manufacturing, life sciences, logistics, IT, microelectronics, mobility)
• Ability to negotiate complex business transactions and analyze business deals
• Willingness to maintain residency in or relocate to Southern Indiana region
