Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Discipline Leader for Water Reuse to guide planning, design, and delivery of reclamation projects in the Southeast. You will work with the Water Reuse COP, help grow technical capabilities, and engage with clients, engineers, and vendors.

Lead a team, mentor staff, and collaborate with practice leaders to deliver innovative solutions while advancing the firm’s industry presence. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license required. 12 years of related experience.
• Domestic/international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and coordinates with subject matter experts on water reclamation projects.
• Quality checking documents for compliance with regulations.
• Review and assist proposals and meet with clients as needed.
• Present at conferences to boost technical visibility.
• Mentor staff and supervise engineers on projects.
• Experience in alternative delivery is a plus.
