Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. seeks a Discipline Leader for Water Reuse in the Southeast Region to guide planning, design and delivery of reuse projects and to strengthen the firm’s technical presence.

You will work with PLs, other DLs and engineers to deliver innovative water reuse solutions and drive growth. The role involves collaboration with strategy teams, involvement in R&D or professional societies, and occasional travel to engage clients and conferences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering and PE license required.
• At least 12 years of related experience with travel required.
• Strong knowledge of water reuse regulations and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and coordinates with SMEs on delivery of water reclamation and water reuse projects.
• Quality-checks documents for compliance with regulations and firm policies.
• Supports proposals and reviews technical content for RFPs and client needs.
• Attends conferences to raise technical visibility and contribute to thought leadership.
• Provides technical guidance and training to staff and mentors engineers.
• Supports alternative delivery approaches such as progressive design-build.
