Job summary

CDM Smith in the United States seeks a Discipline Leader for Water Reuse in the Southeast Region. Located within commuting distance to CDM Smith offices in FL, VA, GA, SC or NC, you will guide planning, design and delivery of water reclamation projects and collaborate with the strategy team.

You will work with PLs, other DLs, and engineers to deliver innovative solutions, grow technical luminescence, attend conferences, mentor staff, and support sales and delivery growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15 years of related water resources experience.
• Willingness to travel 20–40%.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Experience with water reclamation and reuse projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and coordinates with other subject matter experts on water reclamation and reuse projects.
• Performs and coordinates with designated team members for quality checking of documents for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborates with the Water Reuse Practice Leader and sales staff to support proposals in response to RFPs and reviews draft proposals.
• Attends and presents at conferences to contribute to technical luminescence and visibility of the firm’s products and services.
• Provides technical guidance and training to staff working on water reclamation and reuse projects; mentors and supervises engineers.
• Alternative delivery experience such as progressive design build is a plus.
