Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a strategic leader to serve as a Discipline Leader for Water Reuse in the Southeast. You will help develop approaches for planning, design, and delivery of water reclamation projects, while growing the firm’s technical luminescence and industry presence.

As a senior member, you will guide technology applications, mentor staff, and collaborate with Practice Leaders to win work and deliver innovative solutions for clients and projects across the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
• PE license is required.
• 12 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel 20%–40% (domestic and/or international).
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Provides guidance and coordinates with subject matter experts for water reclamation projects.
• Quality check of documents for compliance with regulations.
• Supports proposals and reviews drafts for technical compliance.
• Attends conferences and contributes to technical luminescence and visibility.
• Mentors staff and develops them for growth within the discipline and firm.
• Alternative delivery experience (e.g., progressive design-build) is a plus.
