Job summary

Westlake, a leader in custom PVC, TPE, and engineered compounds, seeks an experienced Sales Account Manager to drive growth across domestic accounts in the Southeast. You will manage relationships, forecast pricing, and collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred), 7+ years in customer service or 3+ years in sales, and strong communication skills. Travel and multi-site coordination are involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum seven years in customer service or three years in sales.
• Five years of progressive customer service and sales experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated account relationship management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work with executives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for client concerns; coordinate with T&D, Operations and Sales.
• Develop and maintain relationships with current and potential accounts in territory.
• Communicate order status daily via phone/email; provide proactive updates.
• Determine territory sales strategies: product mix, margins, locations; set visit cadence.
• Support pricing and sales forecasting; coordinate with supply chain for on-time delivery.
• Ensure customer master data accuracy; review credit status with analyst.
• Adhere to policies and pursue continuous improvement.
