Job summary

ProMach Rennco is seeking a driven Regional Sales Manager to lead new business development and accelerate packaging machinery sales across the Southeast. Base locations include Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC, with potential for other strategic sites in the territory.

The role reports to the Director of Distribution Products and focuses on building pipeline, winning new accounts, and expanding market share while collaborating across engineering and applications to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in capital equipment or industrial sales.
• Experience in packaging automation or related industries.
• Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and win new business.
• Strong ROI-based solution selling track record.
• Translate customer needs into practical, value-driven solutions.
• Experience managing complex sales cycles: scope, pricing, contracts.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Achieve quarterly sales goals and year-over-year growth.
• Develop (with others) a Strategic Action Plan and Tactical Action Plan to meet the annual forecast.
• Maintain and expand established customer accounts with innovative sales support.
• Develop new accounts from leads and prospecting efforts.
• Ensure data needed to evaluate potential projects is collected from customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and applications to offer best solutions.
• Initiate RFQ with necessary specifications.
• Lead negotiations to optimize customer ROI and margins.
• Stay current on technology, market developments, standards, and competitors.
• Collaborate with sales teams across ProMach brands for integrated solutions.
