Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Cooling Tower Technician for the Southeast Region to support construction, installation, and repairs of cooling towers across sites. The role requires travel as needed and working safely to meet project goals.

The candidate will read blueprints, assist with equipment installation, and coordinate with Foremen while maintaining high safety standards and quality workmanship. High school diploma and valid driver's license are required, OSHA 10 preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 Certification (preferred).
• Experience working in an industrial workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of mechanical equipment including motors, fans, gear boxes and drive shafts.
• Read blueprints, sketches, or building plans and liaise with Foreman for direction.
• Assist with selecting lumber and other materials for the job.
• Prepare layouts using rulers, tape measures, framing square and calipers.
• Assist with piping and nozzle installation and erection of framework.
• Perform tasks as directed by Superintendent, Field and Area Managers, and Foremen.
