Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers, LLC is hiring Cooling Tower Cleaning Technicians (CTCT) for the US Southeast region. You will join a team traveling to sites to maintain and clean cooling tower equipment, working under foremen and superintendents to ensure safe and efficient operations.

The role requires willingness to travel, adherence to safety standards, and comfortable with outdoor work and lifting up to 50 lbs. OSHA 10 is preferred; a valid US driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
• Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test
• Valid Driver's License and proof of U.S. Citizenship
• Satisfactory background check
• DISA background screen score ≤ 2

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Operate power washers safely with proper spray head selection.
• Follow supervisor instructions to ensure safe, efficient project completion.
• Maintain safety, efficiency and quality standards throughout work phases.
• Keep high cleaning standards while maintaining timeliness and safety.
• Measure and monitor free chlorine levels in cooling tower water (pre/post-treatment).
• Demonstrate professionalism, positive attitude and technical competence daily.
• Complete THA cards and safety documentation on schedule.
• Read and apply MSDS information; handle chemicals properly.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off when above 4 feet.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervision.
