Job summary

OBR Management in Houston, Texas is seeking a Cooling Tower Technician to support Gulf Coast Region. The role covers construction, erection, installation and repairs of cooling towers across multiple sites.

The technician will read blueprints, assist with mechanical equipment installation, and coordinate with Foreman to ensure safety and quality on each project. Ability to travel extensively is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license or ID and reliable transportation.
• OSHA training and experience in safety standards.
• Experience in an industrial workplace.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work procedures and monitor site safety.
• Assist with installation of motors, fans, gear boxes, and drives.
• Read blueprints/plans and coordinate with Foreman.
• Assist with material selection and layout preparation.
• Assist with cutting, shaping, and assembly of materials.
• Assist with piping and nozzle installation.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off and complete tasks to schedule.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
