Job summary

OBR Management in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Cooling Tower Technician to support the Southwest Region. The CTT assists with construction, erection, installation, fabrication and repairs for all types of cooling towers, working without constant supervision to meet safety and quality standards.

This role may require extensive travel between projects; candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, OSHA safety training, and experience in an industrial

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of mechanical equipment including motors, fans, gear boxes and drive shafts.
• Read blueprints, sketches or building plans and liaise with Foreman for direction.
• Assist with selecting lumber and materials for assigned jobs.
• Assist with layout preparation using rulers, tape measures and calipers.
• Assist with marking cuts and assembly lines on materials.
