Job summary

Air Products seeks an accomplished Line Manager for the South Region in Houston, TX. The role leads the Americas South sub-region operations, focusing on safety, asset utilization, and continuous improvement while coordinating with regional leadership, commercial teams, and technical partners.

Responsibilities include directing production, cost control, maintenance, and growth initiatives, with up to 50% travel within the region.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Operations management with a focus on building teams and remote leadership.
• Strong safety mindset required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer EH&S standards to protect employees, contractors, community and environment.
• Act as senior leader of sub-region, driving profitability and asset optimization.
• Direct and monitor plant production to efficiently meet customer requirements.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and manage productivity programs.
• Organize and control maintenance functions to optimize cost and reliability.
• Provide operational input to engineering estimates and lifecycle assessments.
• Provide operational leadership for growth capacity and M&A activity.
