Job summary

Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. seeks a Regional Project Lead to direct a capital projects team for 150+ plants in the Southeast U.S. region. The role, based in Pasadena, TX or Gonzales, LA, requires up to 20% travel and reports to the North America Project Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities include leading project engineers and construction managers, ensuring process discipline, staffing, safety reviews, and cross-functional collaboration with facilities, maintenance, and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing plant operations or capital projects experience (10 years minimum).
• Strong project management experience in development, estimating, forecasting, and execution.
• Strong leadership abilities and communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 20% domestically.
• Experience with plant outages.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Project Engineering team including Project Engineers and Construction Managers.
• Ensure project processes are followed from initiation to closeout.
• Serve as main liaison between facilities, partners, maintenance, and the project team.
• Oversee staffing and resources for capital projects across the region.
• Mentor engineers and oversee safety and project reviews.
