Job summary

Israeli American Council in Florida is seeking an Events Support Associate to help deliver welcoming, well-organized programs and community events. You will assist on-site logistics and operations for a temporary, as-needed role.

You will set up spaces, welcome attendees, manage check-in, and support children activities while collaborating with staff, volunteers, performers, and vendors. Flexible schedules are required.

Qualifications

• Friendly, dependable, organized with strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to follow directions, take initiative, and stay flexible in fast-paced events environments.
• Available to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces (tables, chairs, supplies, signage, activity stations).
• Welcome guests, manage check-in, answer questions, direct attendees.
• Support staff, volunteers, performers, and vendors during events.
• Assist with children activities while supervising guardians.
• Maintain organized, stocked, and presentable event areas.
• Help with attendance records and follow-up tasks.
• Assist with larger events and outdoor work when needed.
• Operate an activity station, encourage participation, and foster a welcoming environment.
• Participate in planning meetings to align goals and logistics.
