Job summary

Alterra Snowshoe Mountain Resort on Snowshoe, WV, seeks a Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations and deliver excellent dining experiences in a mountain resort setting.

The seasonal role includes early mornings and weekends, with on-mountain housing options. Competitive hourly pay and strong employee perks accompany the opportunity to grow with the culinary team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a similar role preferred.
• Experience in kitchen supervision and staff development.
• Knowledge of food cost management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Flexible and adaptable.
• Proficient knife handling skills.
• Resort experience preferred.
