Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain is seeking a Sous Chef to join our culinary team for the seasonal period. You will work with Chefs and Kitchen Managers to deliver high-quality dining experiences while enjoying on-mountain housing and lifestyle benefits.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and 2+ years of kitchen supervision experience; you will help manage menus, food costs, and safety regulations in a fast-paced mountain environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of kitchen supervision or similar role preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food cost management.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build positive interdepartmental relationships.
• Supervise food preparation and kitchen staff.
• Develop and implement menu items.
• Plan and manage special events with F&B leadership.
• Train and lead kitchen employees.
• Ensure food quality, cost control and safety compliance.
• Respond to guest feedback and manage resources.
