Job summary

Chick-fil-A Western Center Blvd in Kapolei is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and uphold high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Starting pay $23-$25/hr + tips (Ave. $5/hr). Total pay with tips $28-$30/hr. Pay based on experience. Must work weekends and holidays. Experience in supervisory roles and multi-station kitchen preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 year minimum sous chef/kitchen manager/supervisory experience
• Or 5 years experience having worked all stations in a kitchen
• Must work weekends and holidays
• Sauté broiler, pantry, sanitation and knife skills required
• Strong customer service and teamwork in a high tempo kitchen

Responsibilities

• Create daily specials and implement quarterly menu changes while maintaining cleanliness and food safety
• Handle inventory, ordering, portion control, food expediting, cleaning, equipment and facility maintenance
• Organize prep lists and perform daily lunch and dinner prep
• Provide supervisory leadership and manage kitchen staff
• Sauté, broiler and pantry station duties with strong knife skills
• Ensure excellent guest experience through high standards

Pay based on experience.

Must work weekends and holidays.

• Create daily specials, put out quarterly menu changes, maintain kitchen standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Daily duties will include inventory and ordering, personnel management, portion control, food expediting, general cleaning, equipment and facility maintenance, organization of prep lists, daily prep for lunch and dinner service.2 yr minimum sous chef/kitchen manager/supervisory experience
• or - 5 years experience having worked all stations in a kitchen
• Sauté broiler, pantry, sanitation and knife skills are musts!
• Create delicious nightly specials for excellent guest experience
