Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring immediately for a full-time Sous Chef at LCMC Lakeview in Covington, LA 70433. You will lead kitchen staff, ensure quality and patient-focused meals, and maintain safety and sanitation standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with possible weekend hours; previous sous chef experience is required. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $23.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous sous chef experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates, including scheduling, training and reviews.
• Stores food in designated areas following safety procedures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment and workstation.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
