Royal Palm South Beach Miami, a Tribute Portfolio Resort, is seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our opening team. You will collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences and lead daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced, luxury hotel setting.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef on planning, staffing, and procedures, assist in hiring and training, contribute to menu development, manage inventory, and ensure cleanliness and quality across all dishes.

Qualifications

• College degree or certification in culinary/hospitality field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Knowledge of a variety of culinary techniques and cuisines.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily kitchen operations in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
• Communicate plans with the team for planning, staffing, and procedures.
• Complete daily food requisitions and daily specials.
• Assist in hiring, training, and coaching of the team.
• Participate in menu development and recipe standardization.
• Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards.
