Job summary

Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT is seeking a Sous Chef for The Bedford by Martha Stewart. Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will prepare and cook foods, manage kitchen operations and supervise staff.

Requirements include an Associate Degree or higher in culinary arts or equivalent experience, four years in a full-service kitchen, and English proficiency. Willingness to work weekends and holidays is expected; physical duties include lifting and moving heavy items.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree or higher in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
• Four years of experience in a full-service or production kitchen.
• English language ability to understand requests and communicate with guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food under the direction of the Executive Chef.
• Maintain and stock kitchen areas, assist with expediting and inventory.
