Job summary

Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, CT is hiring a Cook 3 under the Bedford by Martha Stewart with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. The role prepares and cooks food, maintains kitchen areas, and supports venue operations across Banquets, restaurants and in-room dining.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in a full-service or production kitchen, is able to lift 35 lbs and push 100 lbs, works weekends and holidays, and communicates in English while meeting Foxwoods culinary standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand food requests and communicate in English.
• Two (2) years of experience in a full service or production kitchen required.
• Must be able to perform all basic cooking methods and work hot/cold culinary stations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons and cooks soups, vegetables and other food items for Banquets, restaurants and/or in-room dining.
• Assists with venue management, including expediting, inventory management and supervising personnel.
• Maintains kitchen, preparation, service, dining and storage areas.
