Qualifications

• 1–3 years in kitchen management is preferred.
• Extensive experience in varied kitchen roles including prep and expediter.
• In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine and menu development.
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen, dining staff and guests.
• Proficient in restaurant operations: purchasing, sanitation, policies, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example with a hands-on management style.
• Develop a motivated kitchen team with high ethical standards.
• Ensure open communication between FOH and BOH.
• Ensure adherence to grooming, uniforms, and company policies.
• Provide timely feedback and succession planning recommendations.
• Coach and counsel staff, document disciplinary actions as needed.
• Ensure performance appraisals and promotions align with SOPs.
• Communicate staffing needs to HR and GM.
