Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Sous Chef to oversee the Culinary Department for a facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking of items, develop daily menu items, and work with the Executive Chef to create menus and manage ordering.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an energetic culinary professional with leadership capabilities and a focus on quality in a healthcare food service setting.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience preferred.
• Catering experience a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, cost controls and presentation.
• Must be experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
• Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef with cost controls and expenditures for the account.
• Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus.
• Produce and execute catering events.
• Roll out new culinary programs with Company marketing and culinary team.
