Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead the Culinary Department for a facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking, develop daily menus, and help with ordering.

This role offers an energetic, entrepreneurial culinary professional the chance to contribute to patient dining experiences. Responsibilities include helping manage cost controls, planning menus, producing catering events, and rolling out new culinary programs with marketing

Qualifications

• Must be experienced with computers; including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable
• Catering experience a plus
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures for the account
• Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
• Produces and executes catering events
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team
