Join the team at The Block as a Full-Time Sous Chef in St. Louis Park, MN! We're looking for a motivated culinary leader who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, enjoys developing a strong team, and takes pride in consistent food quality and execution.

This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000-$65,000, based on experience, along with Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Paid Time Off, Paid Meals, and Employee Discounts.

Your Role as Sous Chef

Responsibilities

As the Sous Chef at The Block, you will work alongside the Chef to support daily kitchen operations and lead the BOH team. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading kitchen execution during assigned shifts

• Coaching, training, and developing BOH team members
• Supporting prep, inventory, food cost, and waste control
• Maintaining food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards
• Supporting ordering and product organization
• Partnering with FOH leadership to deliver a strong overall guest experience
• Helping create a positive, accountable, and team-focused kitchen culture
