Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant.
• Hardworking, attentive, hospitality-driven.
• Desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Think creatively to provide guests with exceptional service and value.
• Understanding of American cuisine and ability to execute menus and prep.

Responsibilities

• Direct kitchen staff in food handling, prep, production, and delivery.
• Inventory prepared foods and determine portion sizes.
• Assist in monthly inventories.
• Delegate prep assignments to kitchen team.
• Check quality of all prepared foods by taste and appearance.
• Train and develop kitchen staff in procedures, policies and safety.
• Create work schedules and record in timekeeping system.
• Walk the facility to ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
