Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sourcing Senior Specialist in Dallas to manage direct import buys, research new resources, and help resolve quality and delivery issues. You will build strategic relationships with cross‑functional partners and suppliers to drive results.

Responsibilities include negotiating program pricing, monitoring quality and delivery metrics, and supporting special projects. Strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related experience in retail, apparel manufacturing, quality and trade agreements preferred
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to build relationships cross-functionally
• Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task successfully and prioritize while meeting critical deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

Overview

Sourcing Specialist

The Sourcing Senior Specialist will manage the placement and confirmation of all direct import buys and perform research into the development of new resources and assist in the resolution of quality and delivery issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute brand or product category and report directly to the Director
• Work to build effective strategic relationships with cross-functional partners, internal stakeholders, external suppliers and teams to drive results and influence change.
• Manage internal and external teams and Time and Action to deliver on IMU, quality and delivery goals.

Pay Range

USD $48,000.00 - USD $63,000.00 /Yr.
