Carlisle Brake & Friction Inc in Medina, Ohio is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support global category management. You will help develop supplier strategies, execute cost reduction projects, and drive TCO improvements across engineering, operations, and quality teams.

The role requires strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills, with experience in ERP systems and international supplier collaboration. Travel approx. 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field is required or preferred.
• CPIM and/or equivalent professional certification is a plus.
• 10% domestic travel expected.

Responsibilities

• Source products and services to support global category management.
• Assist supplier audits, negotiate tooling and pricing, and write contracts.
• Perform value analysis to ensure contract and timeline compliance.
• Improve supplier performance metrics and scorecards.
• Lead analysis and projects to reduce total cost (terms, freight, unit cost, quality).
• Provide reporting on global commodity indexes and market trends.
• Support continuous improvement with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
