Sourcing Sales Executives (SSE) are responsible for leading meetings and events sales efforts with a focus on global venue sourcing revenue. Each SSE will develop, implement, and manage relationships for small, mid, and enterprise clients in North America. Submit your application if you are driven to sell services, grow a pipeline, and manage venue sourcing actions. The position offers an hourly base pay plus uncapped commissions, with potential earnings exceeding $100,000 annually. It includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, HSA, stock purchase, 401k, paid time off, and more.

What You'll Do :

  1. Prospect for new business and build relationships, cultivating a sales portfolio.
  2. Retain your customer portfolio through outstanding relationship management.
  3. Expand your reach within clients’ organizations via referrals and presentations.
  4. Provide consultative guidance on site selection services.
  5. Negotiate group hotel contracts to protect client interests and drive savings.
  6. Provide contract savings reports as needed.
  7. Maintain accurate data in sourcing and CRM systems.
  8. Follow up proactively on business leads from Amex GBT.

What We're Looking For :

  • Prior sales experience in hotel sales, DMO/CVB sales, or venue sourcing for meetings & events.
  • Ability to work standard hours from a professional home office.
  • Proven negotiation and closing skills.
  • Consistent success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Strategic approach to articulating value propositions.
  • Results-oriented leadership and change management abilities.
  • Strong networking and collaboration skills.
  • Courteous and professional demeanor.
  • CMP certification is preferred but not required.

The company may conduct criminal background checks due to access to sensitive data and proprietary information.

Location: United States

The hourly wage range in the US is $12.00 to $18.00, based on experience and location. The role is eligible for a metric-driven Sales Incentive Plan. For benefits details, refer to our Benefits-at-a-Glance document.
