The Account Executive (AE) is an inside sales position supporting the South Atlantic market area, with the flexibility to work from home. This role is a combo hunter/farmer, responsible for acquiring new business and retaining existing accounts. Candidates should be experienced in B2B sales, comfortable with cold calling and prospecting, and capable of managing a book of business.
External candidates must be based in NC, SC, or GA. Internal candidates may also be based in Tupelo, MS, or Phoenix, AZ.
The AE generates shareholder value through a consultative retention approach for larger or complex SMB WM customers within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include managing relationships, achieving retention goals, negotiating contracts, and growing revenue from existing customers to ensure positive business performance aligned with WM's growth objectives.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Primarily office setting; may require light physical effort and motor coordination.
Base pay is $23.75/hr, plus potential commissions. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, stock purchase, paid time off, and educational support.
