About The Role

Our team is growing at The RealReal, and we’re seeking experienced salespeople to help drive new consignment business. The Luxury Specialist (LS) - East drives new business by prospecting and closing leads within an assigned territory. If you’re customer-obsessed and self-motivated to “win” in a fully-remote, quota-driven sales environment, this could be the perfect fit!

Eligible work locations: AL, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WV

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9-5

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Prospect new opportunities within assigned territory
  • Follow up and close leads generated by marketing team
  • Leverage strong consignor relationships to gain referrals for new consignors
  • Outreach daily via phone and text (50-100 per day)
  • Provide an outstanding customer experience
  • Review contract with consignors
  • Set pricing expectations through deep knowledge of luxury
What You Bring To The Role

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of proven success in a quota-carrying, direct sales environment
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with prospective clients and close
  • Proficiency and comfort using software such as G-Suite, Email, Salesforce, CRM
  • Ability to commit to full-time hours (40 hours per week)
  • Self-motivation and drive to achieve results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A solutions-focused mentality with a growth mindset

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience selling luxury goods and/or services
  • Ability to discuss and advise customers on fashion trends and luxury market developments

The expected hourly rate for this role is $26-$28. Salary considerations include work location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Compensation may also include bonuses, incentive pay, and benefits.
