Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a world-class Sourcing Manager to own end-to-end sourcing strategy for rack-level cooling and mechanicals across SpaceXAI compute and network hardware.

You will partner with engineers and rack mechanical teams to define commodity strategy, optimize statements of work (SOW), aggressively challenge unnecessary specifications and costs, and drive rack hardware execution at extreme velocity and scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years in supply chain, sourcing, or manufacturing.
• 4+ years in global rack cooling/ mechanical sourcing.
• Experience with hyperscalers or AI infrastructure vendors preferred.
• Ability to negotiate complex SOWs and drive costs down.
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Define commodity strategy and multi-year roadmaps for rack cooling and mechanicals.
• Lead end-to-end supplier qualification, capacity, and performance governance.
• Negotiate SOWs and commercial terms to secure aggressive pricing and capacity.
• Standardize NPI-to-mass production processes and KPI tracking.
• Represent SpaceX in executive reviews and vendor partnerships.
