Job summary

SpaceX in Austin, TX is seeking a world-class Sourcing Manager to own end-to-end sourcing strategy for rack-level electronics and manage supplier execution at scale. You will partner with engineers and power architects to optimize SOWs, drive cost reductions, and ensure on-time delivery for SpaceXAI compute and network hardware.

The role requires 6+ years in sourcing, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of high-velocity program execution in hyperscale environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years in supply chain, procurement, or engineering sourcing.
• Experience in datacenter power distribution or rack-level electronics is preferred.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex SOWs and drive value in high-velocity environments.

Responsibilities

• Define commodity strategy and multi-year roadmaps for rack-level electronics.
• Own end-to-end global sourcing for rack electronics and manage supplier qualification and capacity.
• Draft and negotiate SOWs and commercial agreements to optimize cost and performance.
• Lead should-cost modeling, DFx reviews, and SKU rationalization for TCO reduction.
• Act as primary RFIs/RFPs/RFQs liaison and assess supplier capability and safety certifications.
• Monitor industry trends and coordinate with design teams to mitigate risks.
• Standardize NPI-to-mass-production processes and establish KPIs reviewed weekly.
