Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sourcing Manager (Falcon 9) to develop and manage electronics procurement strategies. You will collaborate with suppliers to implement cost-management plans for existing platforms and new product development, while driving continuous improvement across supply chains.

The role involves analyzing spend, supplier performance, and risk, and guiding engineering on manufacturability and BOMs for avionics hardware.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in one of the listed areas; or 9+ years of experience in these domains.
• Technical procurement experience with PCB, PCBA, electronic components, or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies for electronics categories to reduce risk and meet targets.
• Develop and manage domestic and international supply base; drive compliance to category strategies.
• Work with suppliers on sourcing and cost-management for existing platforms and new product development.
• Identify and execute cost-reduction projects including planning, benchmarking, and updates.
• Perform spend, capacity, technical capability, and financial impact analyses.
