Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sourcing Manager for Launch Vehicle Electronics Systems in Hawthorne, CA. You will craft sourcing strategies for PCB, PCBA, and instrumentation, build a global supplier base, and drive cost-reduction programs across programs.

The role requires advanced degrees or substantial experience in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain, with a strong emphasis on avionics hardware and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 3+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in the same areas.
• 9+ years of experience in one or more listed fields.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing strategies for electronics categories to reduce risk and cut costs.
• Develop and manage domestic and international supplier base with compliance.
• Lead supplier negotiations, manage POs, and monitor delivery performance.
• Collaborate with engineering on manufacturability and BOMs.
• Define SLAs and KPIs, run supplier programs and risk mitigation.
• Support ITAR compliance and supplier assessments.
