Join a leading health system in Kansas City as a Contract Manager. You will negotiate and implement contracts for various services, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and collaboration across departments. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience.
Negotiates, implements, and evaluates an assigned section of BJC's portfolio of contracts, including capital, pharmacy, supply, service, IT, marketing, HR, or finance. Develops strategies for efficient and cost-effective sourcing of products and services to meet organizational requirements. Reviews and analyzes market trends, technologies, and purchase history to identify potential impacts and improvements. Additionally, reviews and analyzes new equipment, products, and services.
Participates in best practice exchange teams or other work teams established to effect change.
Works collaboratively with buyers, distribution, end users, vendors, and other departments to coordinate contract implementation and product conversions.
Responsible for managing categories, engaging with system stakeholders to ensure internal alignment, and overseeing savings generation, pricing accuracy, payables improvement, and supplier contract status.
Collaborates cross-functionally to identify cost-effective, patient-focused products and services and coordinate contract implementation.
Requirements include 2-5 years of relevant experience and less than 2 years of supervisory experience.
Applicable experience: 2 years Bachelor's Degree.
