This role is part of the Procurement Services team, which provides centralized sourcing, contract negotiation, purchasing, and vendor management functions for the entire WPS enterprise. The team also supports contracting for revenue-generating ventures and vendor-related business development.

The Sourcing Manager is responsible for leading solicitations, requirements gathering, sourcing, and contract negotiations for IT and non-IT goods and services, ensuring compliance with procurement processes and best practices to achieve cost-effective outcomes.

Salary Range

$75,000 - $95,000

The offered base pay may vary based on experience, skills, and knowledge.

Work Location

This role is open to remote work in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier selection via RFQ, RFI, RFP processes, aligning requirements with business leadership and strategic plans.
• Lead contract review and approval processes, collaborating with stakeholders and legal teams.
• Develop deep category knowledge and leverage industry expertise for benchmarking and best practices.
• Drive competitive supply strategies to minimize costs and maximize savings.
• Track and report on cost savings and cost avoidance.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support sourcing and contracting for new ventures, including research, strategy development, and negotiations.
• Participate in proposal development and contract negotiations with business development teams.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, legal, compliance, and suppliers.
• Proactively manage customer expectations and influence stakeholder objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply management.
• Minimum 1 year of procurement or contract management experience in IT categories.
• Strong understanding of contract types and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Deltek/CostPoint, Microsoft SharePoint.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).

Remote Work Requirements

• Wired internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps downstream and 1 Mbps upstream.
