Deliver precise, high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures to provide physicians with the critical images and data needed for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
Manage all ultrasound equipment, ensuring proper setup, calibration, and function while rigorously upholding safety and quality control standards for a safe care environment.
Ensure the integrity of the patient record by accurately documenting all images, patient data, and medical history within the PACS system for seamless and prompt clinical review.
Collaborate with the clinical team to perform a diverse range of routine and complex sonography studies, adapting techniques as needed to meet various diagnostic requirements.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of and strict adherence to all departmental, organizational, and regulatory standards to guarantee the highest level of patient care and operational excellence.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
One or more of the following required:
Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. General Radiography is also required in addition to Sonography. State Radiology Technologist licensure issued by Wisconsin Radiography Examining Board required within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
Sonography Tech credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. All specialties accepted.
